EPANET Troubleshooting

GUI Won't Open or Maximize

Sometimes, the GUI for EPANET2 won't open properly. You might see the application running in the toolbar, but it doesn't come to the foreground when clicked. This has to do with the old video drivers in use. To fix this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Open the epanet2.ini file with a text editor (Notepad, VS Code, etc.), likely located at C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\EPANET\epanet2.ini
2. Search for the section "Main"
3. If the mode is 0 or 1, set it to 2.
4. Set the TOP and LEFT values to a number in the low hundreds.
5. Save the file and re-launch (close if open) EPANET2.
